Scope and Contents

Christos Tsountas excavated the Lion tomb in 1892 and this marble lamp was discovered by him in the dromos. The lamp was photographed by A. J. B. Wace and was placed first in the file. This organisation has been retained, even though usually small finds photographs were gathered together in small finds albums separate from tomb and site photographs.
