Biographical / Historical

Leceister Bodine Holland (1882-1952) was an American architect, at historian and archaeologist who held the Carnegie Chair at the Library of Congress. He was architect at the Mycenae excavations during 1920-19233. He was the father of the architect Marian Rupert MacAllister, née Holland who herself later undertook the responsibility of archiect at Mycenae in the 1950s.
