1953 Excavation Notebook for House of the Oil Merchant (HOM), including annex, and the Cyclopean Terrace Building (CTB), compiled by E. B. (Lisa) Wace. Daily account of excavation of HOM at front (majority of notebook) and CTB at back, interspersed with corresponding papse notes throughout and some sketch plans.
10 inserts: 1 hand drawn plan in ink traced from a 1952 drawing; 3 printed plan and section drawings of HOM; 2 plans in ink on blue drafting linen of HOM; 4 leaves typescript notes copied from J. M. Dow's 1952 notebook with annotations handwritten in ink.
