Physical Description
Loose leaves of printed proof text, H. 33 x W. 25.5 cm, the colour jewellery and weapons plates pasted on to leaves of plain paper, the whole stamped at intervals 'From The University Press Oxford' with various dates in February and March 1933.
Also a separate batch of all 7 of the Plates with colour illustrations, within a bifold of green paper, H. 24 x W. 31.5 cm.
Originally the proofs were sandwiched in a green clip-back folder which is now kept separately with them.
2 inserts, a card invitation to a Mallet's exhibition of antique English furniture and silver, with Ch. Tombs publication notes scribbled by AJBW in pencil on the v., and the same on the v. of a Harrods card advertising advice on 'The Furnishing and Decoration of the Home'.
