Scope and Contents
Images of mountainous fortified dwellings and mountainous landscapes.
Although this album was labeleld 'Naxos and Paros', some of these images could pertain to either Macedonia or to Lakonia.
The 3 positive prints are of E.S. Forster on the verandah of the British School at Athens (taken in 1903 or 1904), a mountainous dwelling and an island settlement and harbour.

Physical Description
13 monochrome negative photographic prints on celluloid, each 2 ½ x 4 ½ inches (quarter plate negatives). Good condition.
3 silver gelatin positive prints, cut down by hand from contact print quarter plate size to slightly smaller, each approximately 10.5 x 6 cm. Good condition.
1 brown paper envelope W. 15.5 cm x H. 12.3 cm, printed 'Kodak, Limited' with an order number handwritten in ink and a record of '12' negatives. It was kept folded in half for decades and consequently the envelope is nearly bisected from wear and tear.
All items now placed in polyester sleeves.
