None of the notebooks are dated but they were used to take notes during lectures by Taylour whilst an undergraduate at Cambridge, therefore their date span is 1948-1950. The surname of the lecturer is usually placed in brackets after the title of the lecture series, written on the front cover. The one much earlier notebook dates to Taylour's school days.
