In 1956 Lord Taylour visits several cities, towns and villages in Italy. These photographs encompass a broad range, including images of buildings (cathedrals and baptistries, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and houses); ancient Roman and Etruscan architectural and artistic remains, as well as dolmens, images of Lord Taylour and his crew, streets, landscapes, fountains, beaches and animals ('goats in play' and a 'sacred raven').
