[An assembled group of Greeks - men, women and children]
Scope and Contents
The group is posed as an ensemble, perhaps an extended family group. Certainly, at least they were all members of the same village, who supplied Wace with labour to excavate an - as yet - unidientified archaeological site. The man to the far right of the image, dressed in sun hat, dark waistcoat and vraka/βράκα (baggy trousers), is the same man standing next to Wace in AJBW/3/11/95, presumed the foreman of the archaeological excavation work force.
