Athens, people, undated, 1910-1917?
Scope and Contents
18 photographs: 4 views of the Parthenon on the acropolis of Athens, 3 of the British School at Athens, 2 of AJBW in Vlach dress, 3 of an expedition to a monastery, 1 postcard view of the Acropolis from a distance under snow annotated in black ink by AJBW, 'December 1917', 5 images of people standing or sitting outside their houses. It is not clear if these snapshot portraits were taken in Athens or are actually located in another part of Greece, the images may have perhaps over time been wrongly assigned to an 'Athens' group of photographs.
