Scope and Contents
In 1955 Lord Taylour photographs various locations in England, France, Italy, Sicily and Greece, including Hever Castle, Paris, Rome, Monreale, Siracusa, Athens, Venice, Stratford-on-Avon and Cambridge colleges. This is a varied album, comprising of images of ancient Greek and Roman architectural sites and artwork, castles, churches and cathedrals, views of streets, Renaissance art, and landscapes, as well slides of Cambridge colleges and a fantastic image of Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh outside Notley Abbey.
