In 1960 Lord Taylour embarks on a journey in Spain, Portugal and Mexico, travelling through such villages, towns and cities as Seville, Carmona, Granada, Ronda, Jerez, Mérida and Lisbon. Images of churches and cathedrals, Roman architectural remains, streets, markets, fortresses, landscapes, synoptic town and city views, gateways, houses, hotels, Christian processions and old and new areas of towns all ensue.
