LA Land Rover 1974; VW microbus 1977, 1974 - 1977
Scope and Contents
In 1974 and 1977 Lord Taylour embarks on trips spanning over villages, towns and cities in England, France, Italy, Greece, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Germany, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Austria and Luxembourg. Counted among them are Canterbury, Florence, Tirnovo, the Danube, Stuttgart, Cetinje, Ayia, Sofia, Nürnberg and Würzberg. Thematically this album is composed of various buildings (churches, cathedrals, monasteries, mosques, hotels, houses, palaces, castles, fortresses, an opera house in Vienna, an old tannery in Colmar and a Communist HQ building in Sofia), street and road views, markets, medieval Christian art, vehicles (including a hovercraft), scenic views of the Danube and geographical features (rock formations, gorges). There are also slides of the Land Rover and VW microbus groups, including a member getting a haircut on the beach, as well as a shepherd and his flock and women working on embroidery in Tizmani.
