Geraki Accounts etc. Delos, 1905
Scope and Contents
Excavation notes from Geraki, dated May 22, and notes from Angelona. The vast majority of the notebook is dedicated to notes on Delos, dated July 1905, with detailed, measured plans of wall decoration in the Houses.
At the back of the notewook, are records of wages paid to excavation wokers at Geraki, a packing list for the excavation, and a partial draft of a play script written by Wace.
3 inserts: 2 monochrome photographic prints, at f. 10r, of archaeological tourists kistening to their tour leader. One of the photographs features two girls, wearing magnificent Edwardian hats, listening intently. .
1 leaf of notes handwritten in pencil, with a sketch plan of Delos, some abbreviated notes and initials for characters in his play, and a draft of play script jottings.

Brown cloth cover, with edges bound in faded red tape, loop for a pencil attached to front cover, perished brown elastic for closing the notebook attached to back cover, text block of squared paper, handwritten in pencil, 18 x 11cm.
Unfoliated, ff. 90
Half the length of the spine has lost its textile covering, exposing rusted staples. Fragile.
