The notebook is undated but pertains to the period when Wace first visited Lakonia, in preparation for excavating at Geraki the following year.

Buff-coloured waxed cloth cover with a number 10 written in pencil on front cover, text block of lined paper, handwritten in ink, 23 x 18cm.
Unfoliated, ff.70
12 inserts: scraps of paper, mostly torn from a reporter-style A5 notebook, handwritten in ink and pencil, found between front board and front flyleaf
The cover has surface, ingrained dirt but the volume is in overall sound, good condition.
