Notes on Hellenistic portraits, indexed alphabetically at the back. Arranged by historical figure, with notes on whom the portrait depicts, the museum colleciton in which the bust can be found and key bibliography.
4 inserts: 3 leaves of of rough notes and 1 leaf of blotting paper.
The notebook is undated, presumed to be a record of Wace's intensive studies of Greek sculpture and art during his time as a student at the British School at Athens, 1902-1903.

3 inserts: 3 scrap leaves of paper with notes in ink and pencil at f. 18r and at the back between fly leaf and back board
The cover has surface, ingrained dirt but the volume is in overall sound, good condition.
