Notes on Hellenistic coinage, arranged by ruler or region. Includes notes on the stylistic progression of the imagery on the coins as well as descriptions of the coin types.

The notebook is undated, presumed to follow Notebook 3 as a record of Wace's intensive studies of Greek sculpture and art during his time as a student at the British School at Athens, 1902-1903.

Physical Description
Dark maroon waxed cloth cover with a number 4 written on spine and front cover, black binding to spine, marbled paper flyleaves, handwritten in ink and pencil, text block of lined paper, 23 x 18cm.
Foliated by AJBW, ff. 113
3 inserts: 2 scrap leaves of paper with notes in ink at f. 1, 1 printed leafof coin images at f. 19r.
Spine binding extrnally abraided and bumped at top and tail but only cosmetic damage, the volume is in sound, good condition.
