Biographical / Historical
Wynn was educated at Mercers' School, London before coming up to Trinity Hall, Cambridge. He was ordained in 1912, and his first post was as Chaplain of Jesus College, Cambridge. This was interrupted by service in World War I as a Chaplain to the Forces (during which time he was Mentioned in Despatches). Later he was Vice-Principal of Westcott House, Cambridge then Dean of Pembroke College, Cambridge until his ordination to the episcopate as the Bishop of Ely in 1941. He died on 12 August 1956.
