Biographical / Historical

Chambers matriculated at Pembroke College in 1928. He studied Classics, completing Part I in 1930 and Part II in 1931. He received a May Prize in 1929, and was designated Watts-Andrews Greek Scholar in 1930. In 1931 he was designated Beatson Scholar.
