The estates papers are the largest collection within the College Archive. They relate to the College's Manors, Ecclesiastical livings and Estates bought or gifted over the centuries. The former Master, Gilbert Ainslie compiled a catalogue of the estate papers and the College's current listings are based on those catalogues. The catalogues are in manuscript and typescript and are available to consult in the Reading Room. As time permits, data from Ainslie's catalogues will be added to ArchivesSpace, but for the moment we are justa ble to provide a list of estates for which the College holds material. Estate material sent to the Archive after Ainslie completed his catalogues is not yet catalogued, but some lists do exist and for information about more recent records, please contact the Archivist.
