Manuscript diary written on Browne's journey from Shiraz [Iran] to Kirman [?Kerman, Iran] 6 April 1888-25 June 1888, being a continuation of GBR/1058/BRO/1/2. Some entries include sketches. The volume also contains telegrams and loose notes bound into the diary. One of the telegrams is from Neil, asking if Browne would consent to his name going forward for a Readership in Persian at the University of Cambridge (20 May 1888). The notebook finishes with a manuscript copy of a letter from ?Imadn 'd-Danleh, Governor of ?Yerd to ?Narvin 'd Danlah, Governor of ?Kirman.
