Small pocket diary printed by Charles Letts and Co. Dougall has written regularly in the diary in pencil and ink up until 13 April [the day before he was killed]. He records training, military movements, food and conditions and other activities. Also includes 2 advertisement flyers for insurance (they are the same advertisement), the announcement of the engagement of Major C. F. Rodewald and Miss R. M. Boult torn from an unidentified newspaper and a pink sheet of blotting paper.
