Biographical / Historical
A. T. Bartholomew (1882-1933) matriculated at Peterhouse in 1901. After graduation he joined Cambridge University Library (where he had also worked prior to his time at Peterhouse) and became part of the team tasked with cataloguing Lord Acton's library of 60,000 books. Bartholomew went on to become Under-Librarian at Cambridge in 1913, a position he held until his death in 1933.
