'Cave Birds' , 1975
Scope and Contents
A note printed as part of the folder records these as being 10 poems printed for the first time and forming part of 'Cave Birds' which was a sequence of 20 poems written in 1974-1975 by Ted Hughes to drawings by Leonard Baskin. The poems are published together with prints from the related drawings and each poem is accompanied by a facsimile of a draft selected from the poet's working papers. The poems were printed by Balding and Mansell, Wisbech and published by The Scolar Press. This is number 'Record Copy'.
