Records the descent of the Lordship of Coton from Walter Lassels to John Hemingford, Joan Bohun Countess of Essex etc, Margaret Mareschall, Cedding [Gidding] of Huntington, and finally to Woodlark, "who gave it unto our College". The memorandum notes that College records do not link Grantchester with Coton, and that Henry Somer styled himself Lord of Grantchester, while Woodlark was Lord of Coton.
