College Site
Scope and Contents
The College's original site, bounded by Trumpington Street, Silver Street, Queens' Lane and King's Lane is commonly referred to as the 'Island Site'. In addition the College houses its members off Grange Road (St. Chad's) and at various hostels within the City.

Biographical / Historical
'Island Site': references to an 'Island Site' date back to at least 1927. In 1964 in the Society Magazine the Master wrote 'For the College, surrounded by roads on all sides, is indeed an island.'
