Biographical / Historical
The Bull Inn (with land extending down to Queens' Lane) was given to the College in Octber 1626 by Dr John Gostlin, Master of Gonville and Caius. It was rebuilt in 1828 with an extra storey added after the First World War. It was requisitioned as a hostel in the latter part of the Second World War and in September 1946 absorbed into the College.
