The agreement was signed by them all (Thomas Bucke, John Lothian, Thomas Goodwin, Robert Meres, Andrew Perne, and John Arrowsmith), witnessed by Thomas Paske (Clare College), the Vice Chancellor and John Richardson (Master of Trinity) and stated:
1. Within 2 days the sum of £20, part of the £40 due from the late Master was to be paid to Dr Hills;
2. The Master was to pay £10 or £13 supposed to be due from a late Fellow, Mr Moore, under certain conditions;
3. The Master was to pay £8 supposed to be due from another late Fellow, Mr Knowles.
