The plaque reads 'This friendship tree of three continents was dedicated to the cause of global goodwill and friendship by Dr L M Singhvi, High Commissioner for India, Mr Mendi Msimang, High Commissioner for South Africa, and Mr Gopal Gandhi, Indian High Commissioner Designate to South Africa, and the Master of the College, Sir Terence English.
