Biographical / Historical
The arms on the slab are those of Addenbrooke impaling Fisher. The inscription may be translated as: ‘Sacred to the memory of John Addenbrooke M.D. of Kingswinford in the county of Stafford, formerly a Fellow of this College. He died on the 7th day of June in the year of our Lord 1719 in the 39th year of this age.’
