Scope and Contents
Copies of letters by Arthur Lyttelton to his uncle, Rev William Henry Lyttelton. One letter relates to his decision to be ordained and the other refers to the start of term in October 1883 with 20 freshmen and the building of the Master's Lodge ("the mansion") and their young daughter, Margaret ("the mite"). The original letters are owned by the Lyttelton's granddaughter, Kathy Fraser.
