Scope and Contents

"Social History of Selwyn College 1905-1925". A memoir of Selwyn College written by William Nalder Williams at the request of the Master and some of the Fellows. It covers his time as one of the earliest fellows at Selwyn, including the building of the Hall in 1908, attendance at Chapel, use of the temporary building and description of the nature of Selwyn life and external perception of Selwyn as a theological college, a brief mention of the First World War including nurses in residence, college societies including The Logarithms. Fellows and Masters at Selwyn. Typescript with further annotated copy (previously catalogued separately as SEHR/1/35).
