Surviving pages of the diary of Harold Coward, with transcript, with details of lectures and visits during his first term at Selwyn in Michaelmas 1925; also a Freshers photograph, 1925 which is unique in Selwyn's photographic collection; a photo of Coward in cricket whites. a notebook of poems and other writings, a notebook with notes on lectures in English Constitutional history; also letters from Lionel Knights also SE 1925 (1927-1932).

Biographical / Historical
Harold Coward SE 1925. He changed his course after the first year from History to English, and gained an English degree, going on to teach this subject for the rest of his working life (apart from a few years in World War II when he served in the Royal Artillery). He published a pamphlet on the history of the village where he retired, "Hutton: A Somerset Village".
