Biographical / Historical
Commissioned by Selwyn College Athletics & Cross Country Club in 1959 when 44 teams from Oxford and Cambridge were competing in the annual race. St Catherines Oxford won in the following year and then the cup was passed from winner to winner until it eventually reached Griton College and remained there until Christmas 2012
