Includes press cuttings on the following events: Selwyn Memorial, laying foundation stone 1881, financial report 1881, opening of College 1882, Union Society Debate 1882, order of installation of Master of Selwyn 1882, laying of Chapel foundation stone 1893, cuttings pro and anti Selwyn, dedication of new Chapel, 1895; Cuttings are pasted into album and pages are numbered to p. 83.

Biographical / Historical
This volume may have been compiled by AP Humphry, Bursar of Selwyn 1883-1900; another possible candidate is the first Master A.T. Lyttelton, whose mastership spans 1882-93, though he did not leave Cambridge until 1895.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
The volume was rather delicate, with loose binding and pages and was conserved by Melvin Jefferson August-September 2008 and returned to Archives 6/10/2008. Now unbound, in melinex, in a new box, with old covers retained.
