Biographical / Historical
Set up in 1893 following bequest from Rev. Thomas Ratcliffe (1811-1892) rector of Fisherton Delamere, Wiltshire, since 1885 to be used for an exhibition in Classics or Maths with candidates applying from King Edward VI's School, Birmingham. Tenable for three years. Ratcliffe attended St John's Cambridge.
