Correspondence from Bishop John Abraham mainly to Lyttelton discussing the setting up of Selwyn College and his appointment as Master. Also letters to Bishop John Richardson Selwyn. Some letters also to Robert Townley Caldwell, Master of Corpus Christi College, in 1879 asking him if the college would sell them some land and if there are any rights of way across the land for the college, plus copy of reply . Over 80 letters in the bundle.
