Scope and Contents

Items of Selwyn College sports clothing formerly belonged to Kenneth Malcolm Elloy including two college sports blazers, a pair of trousers and two scarves. The cream and striped blazer has a badge with initials SCASC which may have been for the Selwyn College Associated Sports Club (a precursor to Hermes) and the black and striped one has a badge with initials SCAFC which was probably the Selwyn College Assocation Football Club.

Biographical / Historical

Kenneth Malcolm Edwin Elloy 1909-1985 (SE 1938) was born in India in 1909 and arrived from there by boat at Liverpool in 1938 ready to go to Selwyn as a mature student of 28. He later lived in London and died in 1985 (aged 75).
