A short history of the Cambridge Philosophical Society Library and its acquisition of books and periodicals, including a note of Joseph Larmor's bequest in 1942 of 'several hundred books and scientific journals'. 4 page typescript, including a list of notable donations 1882-1942. The first page is annotated by hand ‘As given to G.B. Standing Committee on Libraries 17 August 1967’. The file also contains a printed list of journals etc received by the Society as at May 1884.
