Scope and Contents
Portraits of various people of significance to the Cambridge Philosophical Society, hanging on the walls of the Henslow Room as at July 2015, as follows:
Engraving by Samuel Cousins of a portrait by Thomas Phillips RA of The Rev Adam Sedgwick, MA, Woodwardian Professor of Geology, FRS: three quarter length in academic dress, published London 1833 by Molteno & Graves of 20 Pall Mall, London;
Engraving of a portrait of E D Clarke, head and shoulders, no date [circa 1800?];
Engraving of a portrait by T H Maguire [?] of J S Henslow, half figure, full face, 1849;

Photograph of unknown young man, seated, profile, holding a circular item, no date [early 20thC?];
