Scope and Contents

Front cover inscribed ‘Account of Transactions sent as Presents’, containing list of organisations and individuals receiving Transactions as a gift. Back cover inscribed ‘Account of Transactions sold to Members’. Pasted onto flyleaf at front: letter from Stationers’ Hall, 9 March 1837, concerning the five copies of books required to be sent to Stationers’ Hall for the British Museum, Oxford [Bodleian Library], Cambridge University Library, Trinity College Dublin and the Advocates Library, Edinburgh. Pasted onto flyleaf at back: acknowledgement of receipt of two sets of Volume 8 of Transactions to be deposited ‘with the bookseller of the Dublin University’, signed W H Stokes 23 December 1850.
