Scope and Contents
Entitled 'Memorandum Book for the Philosophical Society's Transactions'. Comprises chiefly lists of ‘copies sent to Members & not yet paid for’, annotated accordingly when payment made. Also some lists of presentation copies made. Largely written in the hands of Sedgwick and Henslow. A note written by Bewick Bridge, circa 1822, reads ‘It will be extremely difficult for the Treasurer to keep the Account for Books sold unless they are paid for at the time they are taken’.
