Large collection of small wooden blocks mounted with engraved copper plates: presumably plates from which illustrations were made for various publications of the Cambridge Philosophical Society. Some are annotated on the underside of the wooden block with the relevant number of Biological Reviews [launched in 1923] and Proceedings (including volumes 21-31).
