Note: this volume was originally used as a ‘Letter Book: commencing 17 July 1851’ (back cover inscribed thus). One letter has been copied in, 20 August 1852, to the Rev E J Hillier, Grammar School, Bury St Edmunds, enquiring as to whether he wishes to cease his membership of the Society.
