Scope and Contents
This committee was set up to review all aspects of the publishing activities of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, with special reference to Proceedings, including: the cost of publishing Proceedings; the desirability of dividing Proceedings into two sections covering pure and applied mathematics; the possibility of changing the title to make the scope of the journal more explicit; and the desirability of publishing a third journal. The committee was convened by Jack Ratcliffe.
