Two files as follows:
1) Papers concerning i) special general meetings of the Society held (chiefly under the presidency of Dame Honor Fell) to discuss the Draft Report of the General Board on the co-ordination of the provision for scientific and medical periodicals in the University Library, the Scientific Periodicals Library and the Medical Library (the principal recommendation being that the SPL and the Medical Library should become organisationally part of Cambridge University Library) and ii) the relationship generally between the University and the Society – accommodation, library etc - 1974-76;
2) ’G.B. Scientific Periodicals Committee’ (ie General Board of the Faculties Committee on Scientific Periodicals, established 1972) papers, 1972-1976, with background papers dating from 1958.
