Scope and Contents The collection contains correspondence of Sir Harry Hamilton Johnston (HHJ) and a miscellaneous collection of items primarily relating to HHJ but also including some family members. The correspondence consists of 258 letters of which all but 30 are letters exchanged between HHJ and family members, and of these the bulk of the correspondence is with HHJ's father, mother, a sister and elder brother.
