Scope and Contents
The official minutes of the committee run from 1919 to 1937 and are handwritten in 5 volumes. From 1929 there are also typescript rough minutes, which are full transcripts of the meetings and include, notably, the discussions of the merits of the books considered for the prizes. These typescripts continue to the end of the committee's life in 1940.
