Scope and Contents

An album of prints. In 1955 the Saskatchewan Jubilee was celebrated by the encouragement of locally written histories of the communities which made up the province. The Society endeavoured to collect as many as possible of these local publications and among them was the History of Loreburn prepared by the local school of which this album was a supplement. Notes were provided with the photographs and are detailed in the individual catalogue entries.

In January 1956, the local school sent to the (then) Royal Empire Society what they described as a 'picture supplement for the History Of Loreburn'.
