John Brown of Rokeswelle, Writtle, grants to Thomas Hevenyngham senior, Thomas Picot, Thomas Hevenyngham junior, John Strene junior, William Chalk senior, Richard Chalk, William Chalk junior, John Howelle, Thomas Chalk, John Smyth, John Bacon, Nicholas Rochell, Thomas Frend, William Sewale, John Saveryn, John Hook and Thomas Sewale certain land in Rokeswelle, Writele, which he had from the gift of William Soneman senior with John Yonge senior and Thomas Henry to them and their heirs. Witnesses: Thomas Torelle, Thomas Stompe, William Bedille, Richard Polyn, Thomas Chercheman.
