Scope and Contents
Eustace [de Fauconberg], Bishop of London, orders to be paid to the Dean and Chapter of St Paul's each year a certain sum [for five marks annually] for the moiety of the town of Meldon [i.e. Maldon, Essex], which his predecessor William [of St Mary's Church] acquired from them, on the anniversaries of the deaths of King Henry II and King John. Witnesses: David Abbot of St Osith, Philipp of Falcumberg, William of Rising, Reginald of Radenor, William of Hutlebury, John of Reigate, Richard Haket, David of Tok, Andrew of Mander, Richard of Lucton, Hugh of Mibeton.
